Currently based in Peckham, Maisy draws influence from her upbringing in the west country town of Trowbridge. Her practice involves a variety of everchanging mediums, such as animation, collage and most recently embroidery, as she collects and pulls apart the minutiae of every day life. Maisy’s work materialises itself as an attempt to digest the zeitgeist and understand the weight behind things others would consider mundane – seeing her work as an opportunity to challenge a reset on how we see the world around us. She is currently studying for a BA in Fine Art: Computational Arts at Camberwell and will graduate in the year 2024.
